Ogscule being used on several Target Dummies.
The Ogscule is a Pre-Hardmode classless weapon that has a 100% chance to be dropped by Demon Eyes when killed while a full set of normal Wood armor is equipped or by condensing an Ogsculian Burrower Banner. When used in Pre-Hardmode, the weapon emits harmless sparks and puffs of smoke. When used in Hardmode, the weapon slowly charges up, pulling in purely visual energy particles. After roughly 5 seconds, it starts firing laser beams in random directions which infinitely pierce. The weapon will automatically cancel its use after 10 seconds. The position of the beams are locked on the player, and will move around with them.
The Wulfrum Excavator boss requires an Ogscule in the player's inventory in order to be summoned.

- In Pre-Hardmode, the tooltip reads:

- The weapon can drop regardless of if the player has any items in their vanity slots.
- This weapon does not have any critical strike chance and cannot gain any from Accessories, Modifiers, Buffs and Armor bonuses.
- Since the rays have completely random directions, the player should focus their attention on dodging, as they have no control over where the lasers will move.
